Our international programme with lots of partner universities will bring your intercultural management and leadership skills to a new level. At our home base, the Campus Rotenbühl at the heart of Saarbrücken, our students work on management case studies, data-driven business models, or create their own digital start-up. And, of course: we boost your economics and management skills in our Micro- and Macroeconomics classes, in various Marketing, Data Science and Finance modules, or in workshops on sustainability or diversity.

Your first three semesters focus on analytical skills and decision-making, as well as working on cross-functional projects to develop leadership skills in cross-cultural settings. In the fourth semester, you specialize in one of the following areas:

• International Accounting & Reporting,
• International Marketing, or
• International Logistics.

You acquire outstanding and specialized knowledge, but also extend your practical skills in your area of choice while working in cross-functional teams on projects with international firms and institutions.

Your study abroad experience begins in the fifth semester at one of our more than 20 partner universities. You will be immersed in a different cultural environment of your choice – we have placements all over Europe and in the US, Mexico, China, Japan, and New Zealand. Back at htw saar for your final semester, you can tailor your electives and choose a topic for your bachelor thesis in your most preferred area of interests.

Students with a high GPA can also apply for a double degree programme with our partner universities in the US, in Finland or France. Non-German native speakers can spend a semester at the htw Business School in the German programme.

This International Business programme is taught entirely in English – you should be fluent in English as well. Courses in Academic Communication & Presentation and Academic Reading & Writing will improve your academic language skills in English.

If you are interested in languages, you have the opportunity to improve your language skills in optional French, Spanish, or German classes.

There are no tuition fees per semester, but an enrollment fee of approx. EUR 363,90 per semester which entitles students to use public transport all over the Saarland.

Academic admission requirements: University entrance qualification (Hochschulzugangsberechtigung, HZB) for German universities and German universities of applied sciences.
