If the number of study places in this quota is not sufficient to admit all applicants to a degree program, a ranking list is created. The decisive factor here is the point value achieved by the result of the final examination of the first degree course and the justification for the second degree course .
The following scores are awarded for the result of the final examination of the first degree program:
- Grades "excellent" and "very good"- 4 points
- Grades "good" and "fully satisfactory" - 3 points
- Grade "satisfactory" - 2 points
- Grade "sufficient" - 1 point
- If you do not provide proof of the grade of the final examination of your first degree course, the result will be awarded one point.
The reasons for the second degree are scored as follows:
Mandatory professional reasons (9 points)
Mandatory professional reasons exist if a profession is being pursued that can only be practiced on the basis of two completed degree programs.
Academic reasons (7 to 11 points)
Academic reasons exist if a further academic qualification in a different degree program is sought with a view to later work in science and research on the basis of previous academic and practical work.
Special professional reasons (7 points)
There are special professional reasons if the professional situation is significantly improved by the fact that the completion of the second degree program usefully complements the first degree program. This is the case if the activity sought through the second degree in conjunction with the first degree is to be regarded as a combination of two fields of activity specific to the degree program, which as a rule cannot already be performed by graduates of one of the two degree programs, and the person concerned demonstrably aspires to this activity.
Other professional reasons (4 points)
Other professional reasons exist if the second degree program is necessary due to the individual professional situation for other reasons, in particular to compensate for an unfair professional disadvantage or to expand the employment opportunities of the activity carried out with the help of the first degree program.
None of the above reasons (1 point)
